Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2026

KP Jobs ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit kpjobs.io, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. This policy is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the advertising standards required by our partners including Mediavine / Journey by Mediavine and Google.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: name, email address and message content when you use our contact form, subscribe to a newsletter, submit a comment, or post a job.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent, and general location (country / region). This is standard log data used to keep the site secure and improve content.

Cookies and similar technologies: we and our partners use cookies, local storage and pixels to remember preferences, measure traffic and serve advertising. See Section 5 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain and improve the website and its content.
  • Respond to your enquiries, comments and corrections.
  • Send you newsletters or updates you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Measure how visitors use the site so we can improve articles and navigation.
  • Display relevant advertising and measure ad performance.
  • Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing emails), our legitimate interests (running the site, security, basic analytics), performance of a contract (when you post a job or buy a service), and legal obligation (accounting, responding to lawful requests).

4. Advertising Partners

KP Jobs displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks including Mediavine / Journey by Mediavine and their supply partners, and, where applicable, Google AdSense / Ad Manager. These partners may collect and use data (such as IP address, device identifiers, browsing behaviour and general location) to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, cap the number of times you see an ad, and measure ad effectiveness.

You can learn more about how these partners use data and manage your choices here:

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them in four categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (e.g. remembering that you have accepted this notice).
  • Preferences — remember settings such as language and theme.
  • Analytics — help us understand which articles readers value (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Advertising — used by our ad partners to serve and measure ads.

In the EU / UK, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies via a consent banner powered by an IAB TCF-compliant consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and, where applicable, Google Signals disabled by default in the EU). Analytics data is aggregated and used only to improve the site.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics, ad serving), under written data-processing agreements.
  • Advertising partners, as described in Section 4.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically 24 months for analytics logs, 3 years for contact-form messages, and for the duration of your subscription for newsletter data. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting past processing).
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (California residents).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@kpjobs.io. We respond within 30 days.

10. Children

KP Jobs is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. Where we transfer personal data out of the EU / UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Security

We use industry-standard measures — HTTPS, encrypted databases, access controls and regular reviews — to protect your data. No online service is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and, where required, notified by email.
